Text Box: This phenomenal Ozarkian “folkgrass” singer-songwriter duo will be returning to perform
another intimate house concert in Berkeley after last year’s successful concert!

Since 2001, the Ozarkian duo of Kelly Mulhollan and Donna Stjerna have toured steadily and produced 6 CDs. Both Kelly and Donna are accomplished songwriters and play a plethora of instruments including guitar, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, harmonica, tenor ukulele, cello, washboard, and mbira! The group’s repertoire is primarily their own original, roots-based songs (a genre hybrid they term “folkgrass”) interspersed with new arrangements of traditional songs. They have received numerous awards including “Best Folk Group of the Ozarks” and “Best Guitarist” (Kelly) in the Ozark Music Awards and have been elected to the Hall of Fame at the Northwest Arkansas Music Awards.

Still On the Hill took my house concert audience by storm when they came for the first time last year, resulting in them getting 2 requests for bookings from other house concert presenters, 2 radio show requests, and lots of new fans. SO come see what the fuss is about! The opportunity to see this very unique and talented duo is one not to be missed!

“A special and unique delight… a highly energetic performance… never a moment of boredom!” —- Country Home Magazine (Germany)

“[Still on the Hill] weave an intoxicating spell. ...the music is more powerful and entrancing than ever. The duo shares the writing, singing, and producing duties, creating innovative songs in subject and sound. This magical combination results in a rich, enchanting texture that sets them far from and above the common duet arrangements... The
creativity and originality of these two blows through the stale air of singer-songwriters like a gale of genius.” —- Rich Warren, SingOut! Magazine

"These musicians have grafted the wild climbing vines of bluegrass, folk, classical and mountain music onto the
hardiest of Ozark rootstock. The result is a yet-to-be-named hybrid music that compels people to stop and listen, to pause in their hectic lives and pay attention to something they've never heard before. It's magic, and there's
simply not enough magic in the world today. —- Julie Koehler, Bluegrass Now
